Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent local provider. That is a real window or siding business, not Peaceinvolvement Windows & Siding. They run their own jobs, set their own schedules and give their own estimates.

We do not list staff names or profiles, because the providers are separate companies. We simply make the introduction.

What Happens on the First Call

Expect a relaxed, practical chat. The provider will usually ask:

• Where the home is and how old it is
• How many windows or how much siding is involved
• What problem you are seeing, such as drafts, fogging or worn boards
• When you would like the work done

They may then suggest a visit to measure and look at the home. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies.

What to Ask a Provider

A few good questions can save you stress later. Try these:

• Will you give me a written estimate that lists materials and labor?
• What window or vinyl siding options suit my home and climate?
• How do energy efficient windows compare in price and performance?
• How long will the work take, and how will you plan around our daily routine?
• What will be done about cleanup and old materials?
• Are you licensed and insured where I live?
• What warranty comes from the maker, and what comes from you?

Write down the answers. It makes comparing two providers much easier.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can ask for more than one estimate. You can take time to think, and you can say no. If something feels rushed, slow down. A good provider will understand.

Typical costs vary a lot by home, size and material, so a written quote is the only reliable number.
